Finally managed to find the initiative to blog. Decided that this time, the lifespan of this blog is going to be longer than the previous ones.
Last couple of weeks were tiring. Uni & personal life events draining off all my energy. PEACE!! is the only thing I wanted from last couple of weeks. The only thing that I could remember from uni is about catching up with work and reading up for the coming classes. Readings and assignments pilling up one after another and not being able to finish the previous ones.
It’s the end of week 4 now and I’m done with my core shifts, which means that I now only have to work 1 long day (12hrs shift) per week for the next 6 weeks. After that it’s CHRISTMAS!! I love Christmas and can’t wait for it to come.. OH NO!! It’s just October and I’m already thinking about what I’m going to do during December time.. That’s not good. I still have 6-7 weeks to go.
My hands have become so dry ever since I started placement. Washing hands after every patients is good in term of infection control but definitely not good for the skin. It’s so dry and it cracks every now and then, and even Vasaline can’t help with it. What can I do??
Had my first Chinese online class today and it was amazing. Hopefully I will be able to pick up this language well so that I’m prepared for my 3rd year.. WooHoo!!
I’m so tired.. Guess I should go to bed now. Nitey nite
